Chinese handset manufacturer Xiaomi, has sent a global smartphone launch event in India on April 23, which will be attended by Xiaomi CEO and founder, Lei Jun, president and co-founder Bin Lin and VP International, Hugo Barra.
In the invite, it says "i is coming." So, if the rumors turns out to be true, the Chinese company might launch the variant of Mi 4.

According to MyDrivers.com, they have spotted a device named Xiaomi Mi 4i on Singapore's Infocomm Development authority (IDA) database as well as GeekBench. Moreover, these leaked specification, matches with the previously leaked Xiaomi smartphone dubbed as Ferrari.

This so-called Mi 4i is expected to come with 4.9-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM.
Also, it is expected to feature 16GB built-in storage, a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and on the software front, it is said to be shipped with Android 5.0.2 out of the box.
Few days back Xiaomi has launched the Mi 4, which is packed with a 5-inch FHD display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
In the imaging department, it comes with a 13MP rear facing camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front facing shooter.
The makers have added a a 3,080mAh battery fitted inside. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G.
The phone runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat with Xiaomi's MIUI 6.0 slapped on top. Xiaomi Mi4 is definitely more streamlined than its predecessor.
