Xiaomi Mi3S: Leaked Specs Hint at 5-Inch FHD Display, Snapdragon 801 and More

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has already said that the company will soon enter the Indian market. Also it has announced the company's May 15 event in Beijing, where it will unveil its devices for this year. Among the lot that are expected to be seen at the event are the Mi3S smartphone and the MiPad tablet.

Now one of these devices have been leaked ahead of the launch. To be precise it's the specs of the Mi3S smartphone that have been leaked. The specs are leaked via benchmarking site AnTuTu, and we now have a pretty good idea about the phone's hardware if not the features.

According to the AnTuTu benchmark details, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi3S (codenamed Leo) will feature a 5-inch full HD display.

It will be powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. And it will run on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS with MIUI on top.

The phone will also feature a 13MP rear camera and a competitive 8MP front-facing shooter as well. In the storage front, it will sport a 16GB of internal storage unit. This is what the AnTuTu document showed us.

However, other details of the handset has not been disclosed as of now but the basic picture of the handset makes it already high-end handset and what is left are just the features and software and the battery capacity.

If earlier rumors about the phone are to be believed, than the Mi3S will also come with an LTE support. Speculations also hint at the price of the handset at 1999 yuan which will translate to Rs. 19,246 in Indian currency. But this is not the confirmed price of the handset.
