Going through the specs of the handset once more, launched at Rs. 5,999, the Redmi 1S sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a layer of Dragontrail glass. It comes powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Xiaomi's MIUI layer on top.
