Xiaomi is one of those top Chinese handset makers that have started well in the Indian smartphone market. And although this isn't the first Chinese company to step into India, it seems like Xiaomi is here to stay for a long time.
The company first came into highlight with its previously released Xiaomi Mi 3 and its proprietary MIUI interface. Both the smartphone and the UI, as it seems, has picked up well with the Indian users with the handset selling out in record time.
However, with the potential Mi 3 release out of the way, the company is now focused on the upcoming Redmi Note handset. And as of recently, the Redmi Note has already been announced with 4G LTE and Snapdragon 400 support.
Doing a recap on the specs of the Redmi Note, the handset sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 pixel IPS support. The device has 2 GB of RAM coupled with 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor.
It has 8 GB of onboard storage and a micro-SD card slot that supports another 32GB. The device runs on Android 4.2 that has been optimized with MIUI version 5.
Apart from that, the device sports a primary 13MP rear camera with LED flash, alongside a 5MP snapper at the front of it. The phone is juiced via a massive 3200mAh battery. So don't worry about running out of juice in the middle of the day.
But while the specs sound good enough to make it to your smartphone wishlist, what are its internal features that you should be more aware of? We take a closer look. And if you aren't still aware of the Mi 3, you could take a look at our unboxing video below for the same
The Redmi Note has a big display on offer. With its 5.5-inch HD IPS display, games, ebooks, and videos, are vibrant, clear, and bigger than ever. Moreover, with its 178 degree in-plane switching (IPS) technology, expect stunning color consistency from almost any angle.
The Redmi Note 4G is quite the powerful device. With the power of eight cores inside, lag times and glitches will be a thing of the past. Expect up to 1.4x better graphics performance than the Mali-400 with rich textures and subtle shading as you explore immersive game environment.
The Redmi Note, aside all its brilliant features, comes with an impressive camera as well. The device's 28 millimeter wide-angle lens lets you capture more with each shot. Also. Redmi's ƒ/2.2 aperture and 28mm wide angle lens will let you focus in on objects as you never did before.
With bigger screen, bigger RAM and a world class UI, the most integral thing that's required is a great battery. The Redmi Note's 3200 mAh lithium-polymer battery makes sure you are treated to more than 13 hours of 3G usage, 60 hours and music playback and more than 700 hours of standby time support.
We don't need to remind you about the freshness and uniqueness of the MIUI interface. In fact, that's one of the top things aside others that you will get alongside the Redmi Note handset. We have seen its power thanks to the Mi 3, and there's no reason to believe why Redmi Note will be any different.
