Xiaomi’s Archrival Meizu To Enter India on May 18, likely to launch Meizu M1 Note
No longer are smartphone manufacturers asking, "Should we enter the Indian handset market?" The new generation of young consumers present an incredible opportunity for global handset makers, especially, from China.

The arrival of China-based handset manufacturers in India started in a big way in 2013, followed by an official debut of Xiaomi, the very next year.

Meizu, one of the top selling Chinese brands, is eager to set up its shop in India. The company today announced that it will make its much-awaited debut in the country on May 18.
Earlier in the day, China's fastest growing handset manufacturer teases its official entry into India via its official Facebook page. The company will most likely to launch the Meizu M1 Note in the country.
The Meizu M1 Note features a 5.5-inch FHD IGZO display, and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core (Cortex-A53) MediaTek MT6752 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM, and a Mali T760 MP2 GPU.

It also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a five-element f/2.2 lens and LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity are on board.
The Meizu M1 Note is available in China for CNY 999 or around Rs 10,000 approximately. If launched in India at the same price bracket, it may give Xiaomi and Huawei a big threat.
