Xiaomi Sells 100,000 Redmi 1S Smartphone in 4.2 Seconds in India Today
Xiaomi's latest flash sale of the Redmi 1S is over and the company sold out 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S smartphone in just 4.2 seconds. In total, the popular Chinese handset maker has sold over 4.9 lakh Redmi 1S smartphone in India.
Apparently, the smartphone is still in demand as the company reported that it received over 3 lakh registrations for this flash sale. The registrations for the 21st October sale at would start from today at 6PM. Xiaomi makes it compulsory for the users to register even if they have already registered for previous sales.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S: Key Specifications
The Redmi 1S sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a layer of Dragontrail glass. It comes powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM.
Other specs include Android version 4.3, Mi UI, 8MP rear shooter, a 1.6MP front facing camera, 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB support and 2000mAh battery.
In a related news, if you are not aware, Xiaomi has also roped in ex-Google employee Jai Mani to run the business in India.
