Xiaomi Tipped To Launch New Smartphone With Snapdragon 808 CPU
A new report claims that Xiaomi is planning to release a smartphone in the coming days. The upcoming device will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor, and is rumoured to be priced between $209 and $242, as per a Chinese electronics industry analyst Pan Jiutang (via GizmoChina).

We should be hearing more and more about Xiaomi's upcoming phone in the coming days, as it appears that the Xiaomi has had trouble keeping the smartphone's specs and other details under tight wraps.

There's no official word on what the phone maker might be showing, but the upcoming handset would be different from the existing Mi4i, which recently went on sale in India and Taiwan.
Furthermore, some media reports suggest that the device will land in the third quarter of 2015. Reportedly, the device will be powerful than the Mi4i which uses a second-generation Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
In other news. Xiaomi's recently launched Mi Note Pro is facing hell lot of issues, as users have been several complaints about it overheating. There have also been users who reported that overheating has led to their display or touchscreen failing on them entirely.
