Xiaomi To Partner With Flipkart to Launch Its Smartphones in India
This year, Motorola and Flipkart signed an agreement that allowed the latter to exclusively sell all the smartphones made by the former company in India. The marketing strategy was an instantly hit to the extent that Moto G and Moto E were both sold like hot cakes. Moreover, both these devices went out-of stock twice as the sales soared up sky-high.
Thus, other smartphone makers learned from it and started seeking opportunity to sign similar agreement with the online retailers in India. Just recently, Celkon launched its latest A35K smartphone powered by Android KitKat at the price of Rs. 2,999. This company signed a similar exclusive agreement with Snapdeal.

Now, it looks like Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is waiting to ink a similar deal with Flipkart, if report from BGR India is to be believed. The brand, which has recently entered in India has already launched its official India website via which it is selling its devices. However, with the signing of the deal with Flipkart, there might be some modifications in the marketing strategy as well.
