Xiaomi To Sell 100,000 Units Of Redmi 1S On November 4

Xiaomi is unmistakably making an intense impact on the budget range smartphone market in India. So far, the "Apple of China" has sold about 6.4 lakh Redmi 1S smartphones in India until October 28th, which includes the 8 massive flash sales.

The maker of the Mi3 smartphone is yet to make the Redmi 1S once again available in India via the same flash sale scheme on November 4th. This time it will be selling 1,00,000 units of the Redmi 1S smartphones in India.

As a surprise, the company has announced that, lucky fans those who tried to buy Redmi 1s and failed, will find the device added to their cart on Flipkart on November 4th. This was also done with the Mi 3 buyers during Diwali. Further, the company is also offering 10% discount on select Redmi 1S covers on November 4th.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S: Key Specifications

The Redmi 1S sports a 4.7-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a layer of Dragontrail glass. It comes powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The latest Redmi 1S comes with a highly customized Android version 4.3 and has a UI, which resembles the Metro UI from Windows Phone devices.

Talking about the photography aspect of it, the smartphone features an 8MP rear shooter and a 1.6MP front facing camera as well. On the storage front, it uses 8GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It is a dual SIM smartphone with other connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB support. It is fueled by a 2000mAh battery.
