Xolo 8X- 1000 - Processing and connectivity
The handset is snappy, all thanks to an 1.4GHz true octa-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage ( yes, expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card slot). The phone performed okay without any hiccups.
In our brief testing, we made sure to check out the phone's gaming capability, and a built-in GPS navigation system. We haven't found even a minutest glitch or something. The pre-installed apps ran smoothly.
Connectivity wise, the handset offers 3G connectivity, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth V4.0, among others.
The Hive UI also provided better-than-expected music and video player, dubbed Fusion X. It's fast and looks good, too.
