Xolo Play 8X-1020 With Hive UI Spotted As Available Online, Coming to Retail Shelves At Rs 9,700

While Xolo today officially announced the launch of Q700 Club, the water and dust resistant, dual front speaker smartphone, at the same time the company silently launched the Xolo Play 8X-1020 online.

Basically, Xolo Play 8X-1020 is the first smartphone based on the company's proprietary user interface platform - HIVE. Also, Xolo is the first Indian company to come up with a proprietary user interface platform and Xolo 8X-1020 running on HIVE UI was spotted online on eBay at Rs 9,999.

At the same India's renowned mobile retailer, MAHESHTELECOM telecom also confirmed the availability o f the device on Twitter via his latest tweet.

Talking about specifications, Xolo 8X-1020 runs on Android OS v4.4 KitKat and the device sports a brilliant 5" IPS Display. Further, you'll find an 8MP rear camera with Exmor R sensor along with Dual flash and also 5MP front camera with flash.

Powered by 1.4Ghz octa core processor, 8GB ROM, 1 GB RAM and 2500mAh battery, the phone will be soon available for retail at Rs. 9,700 across all authorized retail counters, modern trade outlets and also through e-commerce portal.
