Xolo Q1000: Another Micromax Canvas HD Worthy Adversary Released


Xolo, the brand that introduced Intel powered Smartphones in the market, is about to launch it's new flagship smartphone Q1000. The phone is out for pre-order on popular online shopping sites infibeam and Flipkart at Rs. 14,999. The device has also been listed on Maniac Store as available at a price of Rs 13,999.

As for the specifications, the smartphone comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI with scratch resistant Dragon Trail Glass, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, 1.2MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory via MicroSD and 2100 mAh battery. Xolo Q1000 will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will come with connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Dual SIM (GSM + GSM)

A116 Canvas HD comes with a 5 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 294 PPI, 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, VGA front camera for video calling, 4GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) and a 2,100 mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 14,499.

Xolo Q1000 does come with scratch resistant Dragon Trail Glass which is absent in the Canvas HD. Also, the Q1000 features a camera with BSI sensor which is absent in the Canvas HD. Apart form these difference the two smartphones are in par.
