Xolo, the domestic Indian mobile vendor, was successful today in keeping up the pressure on its competitors in the race to the summit of the Indian smartphone market by announcing its brand new Xolo Q700S, worth Rs. 9,999.

This new offering from Xolo, whilst providing a host of features and a relatively decent set of in-device specifications, also keeps a keen eye on those who thrive on everything that's fashionable by boasting a sleek, metallic finish that's complimented with a thickness of just 8.9mm and a radiant 4.5-inch screen.

Highlighting just a bit more of the device's screen, the 4.5-inch On-Cell IPS Display makes sure that users are treated to the best viewing experience with the device's on-cell technology, according to official press release, helping the device to attain as less weight as possible, while providing promising visuals and an overall smoothness to the entire experience.

Xolo Q700S, set to be available in two different color variations of gold and silver, runs on the latest Android operating system - Android OS Jelly Bean v4.2 - that's complimented with an effective 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor and 1 GB of RAM.
