Earlier this week, Xolo's new smartphone on the cards, Q800 X-Edition surfaced on the media grounds, when the handset got listed on the company's website. The latest update on the same is that Xolo Q800 X-Edition is available online for purchase on Flipkart at Rs 11,999.
The device has been listed online along with the Xolo A500s IPS. The Q800 X-Edition can be purchased from Flipkart at Rs.11,999, while the A500s has been listed on the company for Rs. 7,249. But the fact remains that both smartphones have not been officially unveiled by the company.
This news comes only three days after XOLO launched its A600 smartphone. The frequency of these launches can now rival the speed of another indigenous handset maker, Micromax, who had back had promised to launch one smartphone every week a few months ago.
Talking about its specifications, the Xolo Q800 X-Edition uses a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixel resolution) IPS display with a pixel density of 245ppi. For processing, it uses a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 MT6589 processor along a PowerVR SGX544 GPU clocked at 286MHz, and 1GB of RAM.
For imaging, the Xolo Q800 X-Edition houses an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the handset has a 1-megapixel front-facing camera.
There is 4GB of internal storage, which an option to expand up to 32GB using a microSD card. The handset draws its power from a 2100mAh battery, which according to the company delivers up to 360 hours of standby time and up to 16 hours of talktime.
The Xolo Q800 X edition runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has support for dual-SIM (GSM+GSM).
