Xolo Q900: Top 5 Rival Handsets In The Same Price Bracket
The Indian consumer has come to terms with the fact that for optimum smartphone performance from an Android phone, one will have to spend at least Rs.10,000 or so. The reason being that manufacturers provide decent hardware only at this price range. Phones falling below this price range will have weak hardware that will bar users from experiencing the Android OS at its best.
XOLO introduced a new quad-core smartphone, the XOLO Q900. The handset comes with a screen size of 4.7" and goes on to delver 312 ppi. It runs on a 1.2 GHz processor along with 1 GB of RAM. For imaging, there an 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash plus a 2MP front facing camera. Videos can be recorded at 1080p.
Moving to storage, it has 4 GB of internal storage with microSD card support for up to 32 GB. The phone houses a 1800 mAh battery Xolo claims that it can offer up to 18 hours of music playback and 5 hours of video playback. The company also claims standby time of up to 384 hours on 2G and 298 hours on 3G, and talk time on 2G for 13 hours (10 hours on 3G).
The handset comes with a price tag of Rs.13,000. Given its price tag, the handset is bound to compete with dozens of other smartphones from manufacturers. Gizbot has picked some of the other options that you should consider before you pick up the Xolo Q900.
