Xolo Q900s Android KitKat Smartphone Launched In India At Rs 9,999: Top 10 Budget Alternatives

Since its inception, domestic vendor Xolo has been churning well rounded handsets for mass audience. And its latest mid-range phone, the Q900s, is no exception. The company has launched a practical looking phone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. Interestingly, the new Xolo Q900s is said to be an Android variant of the Win Q900s, which is a Windows Phone 8.1-powered smartphone. Both the devices weighs-in at 100g.

The new handset sports a 4.7-inch (540x960 pixels) qHD IPS display It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot.

The phone also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. On the connectivity front, the Xolo Q900s includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, dual-SIM, Bluetooth and more.

The mid-range phone has an 1800mAh battery, which according to the official listing, can run up to 23 hours of talk time and up to 263 hours of standby time on 2G networks.

The mid-range phone is priced at Rs. 9,990. The handset will certainly face tough competition from the likes of Lava Iris X1; Xiaomi Mi3; Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Duos; Xolo Q2000L; Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 ; Karbonn Titanium Hexa ; Xolo Q1011 and more.
