Indian smartphone makers like Micromax and Karbonn have had a phenomenal record in producing the best of the devices for the Indians which suit the majority's budget. But in the same category, Lava's premium smartphone subsidiary has been doing the same thing but somehow has not been able to catch the pulse of its customers. However, the company in recent weeks have made few incredible phones official, which might make it a bit more competitive in the market.
The smartphone maker, which was the first among the Intel's mobile chipset users has now been rumored to come up with a Windows Phone devices in Xolo Win series. So far, Xolo was only exploring with the Android OS and with this particular smartphone, the company will enter the Windows Phone arena.
According to a TOI report, the pricing is expected to be less than Rs. 12,000 and what is worth mentioning about the rumored phone is the weight which is expected to be less than 100g. This might be the lightest phone if the rumor materializes, as most of the phones that are being launched these days weigh more than 130g.

In terms of specs, the publication site says that it will have a 4.7-inch screen and will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. However, apart from that there are no information about other hardware specification. In terms of software, it will most probably use the Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
Since Micromax is also announcing its latest Windows Phone device in India today, the rumored Xolo Win smartphone might be a serious competitor. with the recently launched Lumia 630 also set to be a rival for both Micromax and Xolo phones.
