Zen Mobile To Launch Firefox Powered Smartphone Within October 2014
It looks like new smartphone makers are also taking interest on the Firefox based phones. After Intex, Spice and Alcatel, apparently, a new company under Teleecare Group called Zen Mobile is said to release its Firefox powered phone in India by end of October.
This would be the first Firefox smartphone from the company and Zen Mobile will be offering an ultra-low cost smartphone, reportedly priced around Rs. 2,000, bringing the number of Firefox OS powered devices to four.

The company already has a number of smartphones, tablets and also array of feature phones being sold in the Indian market.

However, it is not sure, what configuration will the new Firefox smartphone from Zen Mobile will bear. Will it given a better or higher hardware strength or lower than that of the ones available in the market.
It is true that the Mozilla's new Firefox eco-system is at the nascent phase at the moment. However, the company is putting its best to expand the Firefox OS ecosystem through partnerships and collaborations with distributors, app developers and other OEMs.
Moreover, it was reported that Mozilla will be partnering with key app providers like eBay India, ESPN, Vuclip and Zomato to expand its eco-system and market in India.

Firefox smartphones has a potential to oust the feature phone market and it's ultra-affordable price that is equal to the feature phone's cost is one of the most intense factor that would give it enough potential to replace the feature phones from the market.
