Zen Ultrafone 502: 4.5 Inch qHD Smartphone Now Available Online for Rs 7,299
Zen Mobile, known for its Ultrafone 701 HD, has come up with an affordable dual-core smartphone in India. The Ultrafone 502 is now available from Snapdeal. Earlier this year, Zen had announced the Ultrafone 501 at Rs.6,599. Originally, the Zen Ultrafone 502 is listed on company's website for Rs. 8,999, while those who are willing to purchase the phone from Snapdeal, can grab it for Rs. 7,299.
The Zen Ultrafone 502 has a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display having resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with an unknown chipset. The RAM stands at 512MB, whereas there is 4GB of internal memory built-into the device.

You can further expand the internal memory up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. There's an 8-megapixel rear facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for long video chat. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 1700mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside. Other connectivity features include: 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio, Dual SIM and much more tempting features.
In the coming days, Zen Mobile is expected to launch its first Full HD smartphone. The company is currently promoting the unannounced device through online social media. The phone is said to be announced under Ultrafone series.
Competition check
The Panasonic T31 is the latest budget handset having a dual-core processor. The device packs a 4-inch TFT display with WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.
There's a 3.2-megapixel rear facing camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The makers have added a 1300mAh battery. The phone measures 11.95mm in terms of thickness and weighs 120 grams. Other connectivity features include: Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, A-GPS, amongst others. The Panasonic T31 comes in Pure White and Bluish Black color variants and is priced at Rs. 7990 in India.
