ZTE Announces Nubia Z9 And Z9 Max With Snapdragon 810 SoC Launch Event For March 26
ZTE Nubia Z9 will be the company's new flagship. We've been hearing about this device for quite some time now, a lot of rumors and leaks have come our way in the past couple of months. Well, the company has now released a teaser for the upcoming phone on their official Weibo (Chinese social network) page, revealing that they'll hold an event on March 26th and reveal the device then (along with other devices from the Nubia Z9 line probably).
The Nubia Z7 which launched last year sports a 5.5-inch QuadHD display and 3GB of RAM, along with a ton of other top of the line specs. The Nubia Z9 is expected to sport that very same display, 3 or 4GB of RAM and the device will almost certainly going to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810, a 64-bit octa-core chip by Qualcomm.

Android Lollipop will also come pre-installed here, and you can expect metal materials to be included in the device's build. Speaking of the Nubia Z9, the company has showcased the Nubia Z9 Max during MWC in Barcelona recently. They did not announce that handset though, but showed it off behind the scenes to a couple of select companies. The Nubia Z9 Max will also be launched on March 26th.

The Nubia Z9 Max sports a 5.5-inch display (quite probably QuadHD resolution), 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, a 16-megapixel camera on the back and Android 5.0.2 is pre-installed here. As you can see, these specifications are rather similar to what Nubia Z9 is expected to ship with. The launch event will take place in a couple of weeks.
