ZTE Optimus Barcelona New Android phone

ZTE, the famous Chinese mobile producer is on the final stage on release of its new smartphone Optimus Barcelona. It is the 8th Android smartphone of the company. ZTE Optimus Barcelona has just received the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi official recognition. While comparing Optimus Barcelona with the other android devices, one can assure that there is no device which is similar to that of the ZTE’s new innovation.

Optimus Barcelona will be provided with both Bluetooth and WiFi support. It will showcase the feature of Bluetooth 2.1 module. Moreover, it will characterize a dual mode handset feature which supports both 2G as well as 3G networks. Some of the other features include

  • 2.4 GHz WiFi 802.11 (b/g/n)

  • 3G and 3G networks

  • Bluetooth 2.1+EDR module

  • Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread

ZTE Optimus Barcelona is mainly aimed at the mid range markets of the European countries. It is expected to hit the market by the latter half of March or by April. But the uncertainty still remaining is regarding whether ZTE Optimus Barcelona will be launched in India or not.

The ZTE officials have taken intense care to make each and every feature of Optimus Barcelona attract the smartphone users. It is even reflected in its naming also. But for the first look, the name seems to create some confusion as ZTE made phone Orange Barcelona still exists. Also, there is yet another brand of LG named Optimus. It may sometimes appear as if the company is taking an advantage over LG and Orange products. Due to these reasons its name is expected to be changed during its launch to avoid these misunderstandings.

The fact still exists is that the ZTE has not yet unveiled the specs regarding Optimus Barcelona even not in the conference which occurred in Barcelona. Nothing more about ZTE Optimus Barcelona has been disclosed by the manufacturers but is being anticipated to be revealed the public soon.
