Despite its best efforts, Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has not been able to make its presence felt in the international handset market. With limited presence in the US and other western countries, ZTE predominately sell its devices in China and neighboring countries.
However, with the coming of Nubia X6, things are not looking bleak as one would have imagined. Certainly, ZTE has something special to show off in the coming days to come.
We're talking about the Nubia X6, an upcoming flagship phone that may help the brand to compete against the big guns in the handset business.
Until now, most of us are in an impression that ZTE will release its much hyped phone, the Nubia Z7, later next month. However, recent reports in the media apparently suggest that ZTE Nubia X6, a 6-inch QHD phone, could be released any time soon.
Since early this month, ZTE had been giving all sorts of hints (via teasers), so as to make users aware about the forthcoming X6 handset. The company continues to tease its upcoming Nubia X6 with refreshing teaser posters.
Today, ZTE has posted yet another teaser, giving us an insight in respect to X6's rear-facing camera. Apparently, the phone's camera will feature built-in OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) feature. We've seen this feature in the LG G2 and other leading high-end handsets.
Meanwhile, another teaser image makes it crystal clear that the forthcoming ZTE Nubia X6 is expected to feature stereo quality speakers. We would expect something similar to how Sony has implemented powerful stereo speakers in its latest flagship phone, the Xperia Z2.
As far as its specs sheet goes, the X6 would feature a 6-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display. The device is said to feature a unibody design, making it ultra glamorous in nature.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to come with a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, backed by 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
The Nubia X6 would flaunt a 13-mega pixel rear-facing camera with built-in OIS feature. Currently, there are no details available as far its front-facing camera goes, although we would expect at least 5MP front-facing shooter, considering the market trend.
Generally, ZTE made phones are restricted to Chinese market only. It remains to be seen if ZTE has any intention to release its forthcoming Nubia X6 in other parts of the world, including India.
