Zync, a budget tech manufacturer in India who is well known for the wide variety of Android 4.0 ICS based tablets of both 7 and 10 inch displays has now forayed the smartphone market with the Cloud Z5 phablet.

Following the launch of tablets including Z930 and Z1000, Zync has come with the dual SIM Android ICS phablet with a 5 inch display to compete with similar offerings by other manufacturers including Micromax, iBall, Wicked Leak and Spice, who also have released their phablets into the market lately.

Display: Cloud Z5 packs a 5 inch 5 point multi-touch LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

Processor: The phablet comes equipped with a 1GHz processor under its hood.

Operating System: Being a budget device, it is flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Camera: Cloud Z5 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera for video calling.

Storage: On the storage front, Cloud Z5 has 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable storage.

Connectivity: The phablet comes packed with connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS.

Battery: The phablet is loaded with a 2,500 mAh Li-ion battery of undisclosed backup.

Other Features

Zync Cloud Z5 comes preloaded with pre-loaded with Office Suite, Aldiko e-Book Reader, Bollywood Hungama, Daily Horoscope, ibibo Games, BigFlix and Zomato apps.

Cloud Z5 is priced at Rs 11,990 on the official Zync website, but the phablet can be purchased for Rs 9,490 from Snapdeal.
