Zync Cloud Z5 Launched at Rs 11,990: 5 Prominent Rivals of the Dual Core Processor Phablet Variant

|

The trend of phablet started in 2011 when Samsung created waves of surprise with Galaxy Note. Since then, the flurry of 5 inch Android devices have rapidly increased.

Several companies including global and local manufacturers have come up with phablets based on the Google's operating system owing to the success of such large screen handsets. Especially, in India, the phablet vendors are coming up with dual SIM option and selling their products at attractive price points.

One such company, Zync launched its first phablet in October called Cloud Z5 at Rs 9,499. However, within a few months time, the company has come up with its new dual core variant priced at Rs 11,990.

The same strategy was followed by Micromax with the launch of the dual core variant of Canvas A100 with A100 Canvas 2 in a time span of three months.

When it comes to the improvements in the new Cloud Z5 phablet, the device has a dual core processor and an improved version of Android ICS (4.0.3) as compared to its predecessor.

Due to the upgradation to dual core processor, the device will offer increased performance, more memory space, increased reliability and faster multi-tasking capabilities.
