Canon EOS 200D

The EOS 2000D has been launched in India. It comes as a great option for the ones who are opting for the interchangeable lens camera. The light and compact EOS 200D fits snugly into your everyday bag. This new inclusion to the Canon EOS department comes with dimension as 4.82 x 3.65 x 2.75in (W x H x D). It weighs approx. 453g (Including battery and card). The entry-level DSLR delivers high imaging performance and superior quality images through cutting-edge imaging technologies, including Dual Pixel CMOS AF, 24.2-megapixel APS-C(crop frame) CMOS sensor and the latest DIGIC 7 image processor. It comes with a Full HD 60p video recording, with continuous shooting speed at approx 5fps.

   The captured pictures can be shot and shared remotely by using wifi, NFC via Canon Camera app. The EOS 200D features a 3-inch LCD screen which can be tilted with 360 degree rotation. It features 9 AF (Auto Focus) points, which helps in focusing the moving objects more perfectly. There's also a 95%-coverage optical viewfinder (pretty standard on entry-level DSLRs).  It offers auto White balance with the imaging sensor. Then there is viewfinder of type Eye-level pentamirror, with coverage of approx 95%.

   Equipped with a Vari-angle touch screen LCD monitor, a fully articulated screen that allows users to experiment with creative image compositions from diverse angles. The combination of Vari-angle LCD monitor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF further enables the EOS 200D to deliver smooth and expressive movies in full HD quality at 60p. With the latest DIGIC 7 image processor, the standard ISO speed reaches 25600.This helps in reducing motion blur caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light conditions.

  Coupled with the Vari-angle touch screen LCD monitor, users will have flexibility in composition from different angles and find ease of use in achieving good quality self-portraits. The device is available in market with 18-55mm kit lens by default. This entry level EOS 200D is priced at Rs. 60,495 in Indian market.
