Canon EOS 80D Unique Features

Canon has created an excellent camera for enthusiast photographers that makes a worthwhile upgrade from the 70D. Canon EOS 80D Details

The Canon EOS 80D is launched in India. It is of type single-lens reflex camera with built-in flash, that comes with dimension as 7.8 x 13.9 x 10.5 cm (W x H x D) and weighs approx. 635 g. The device comes with a vari-angle touch screen 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor II for shooting videos and stills at a variety of angles, high or low, with up to 270° of vertical rotation and up to 175° of horizontal rotation. It delivers better imaging performance and superior quality images and videos through cutting-edge imaging technologies, including 24.2 megapixel (APS-C: crop frame) CMOS sensor and the next-generation DIGIC 6 image processor. It offers high speed continuous shooting up to 7 fps. The presence of improved dual pixel CMOS AF helps you shoot video with smooth, fast and accurate autofocus and stills with instant and precise autofocus.

      The built in wifi allows to wirelessly transfer images and movies to compatible devices or share on social networking sites. And also built in NFC allows quick and simple pairing to a compatible Android device and the Canon Connect Station CS100 device. It features 45 AF (Auto Focus) points, which allows for superb autofocus when shooting with the optical viewfinder and focusing area selection modes. It also offers Intelligent viewfinder with approximately 100-percent viewfinder coverage.

       With the  DIGIC 6 image processor, the standard ISO speed reaches 25600. This helps in reducing motion blur caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light conditions. The entry level Canon EOS 80D is priced at Rs. 72,300 in Indian market.
