Nikon Coolpix P1000 Unique Features

The camera comes with 3000mm optical zoom-the Most powerful zoom Lens ever put on a Nikon COOLPIX camera. It includes support for a new ML-L7 Bluetooth connected remote, which allows for easy remote control of the camera including video start and smooth zoom control. To further protect against camera shake, the P1000 also has a chunky grip and Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction, which promises vibration reduction that’s equivalent to five stops.

The Nikon Coolpix P1000 in launched in India. The device boasts an extraordinary zoom range and a suite of powerful stills and video features in a (relatively) compact body. It has 16-megapixel BSI-CMOS 1/2.3" sensor(Crop frame). It comes with dimension as 5.8 x 4.7 x 7.2  in. (W x H x D), and weighs 1,415(Including battery and memory card). It sports 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD display, and a 2.36M-dot OLED viewfinder(Electronic). The camera comes with 3000mm optical zoom-the Most powerful zoom Lens ever put on a Nikon COOLPIX camera. It also comes with the new ML-L7 Remote Control, that allows various camera functions such as zoom, aperture, ISO and shutter to be triggered remotely.

     The P1000’s smooth operating control ring provides next-level operation, enabling users to intuitively adjust focus in MF(manual focus) mode or exposure, white balance or ISO in AF(auto focus) mode right from the lens barrel without having to look away from the viewfinder. It uses a Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction system to stabilize both horizontal and vertical movements. Thus, capturing amazing shots. The device features SnapBridge that pairs easily with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, and allows users to send photos from the camera straight to their smartphones. Besides, the camera also has Moon mode which automatically compensates for low light astrophotography while the advanced bird-watching mode optimizes the camera’s settings for capturing elusive creatures.

       With an improved Expeed image-processing engine, the ISO can be expanded up to 6400. That capture better shots with reduced noise. The P1000 can shoot video as well as stills, at a maximum resolution of 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 30p.The camera also comes equipped with an accessory terminal and supports a wide variety of accessories, including external Speedlights. The Nikon Coolpix P1000 is priced at Rs. 68,615 in Indian market.
