The Nikon Coolpix P900 is launched in India. The entry level device comes with dimension as 10.3 x 13.7 x 14 cm(W x H x D), and weighs 898g(With battery and SD card). It sports a 3-inch vari angle LCD monitor. Using the device, users can connect to smart devices with ease by simply using built in WiFi or NFC. The camera comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery that delivers the longest battery life in its class.

    The Coolpix P900 sports a powerful 83x optical zoom (24-2000mm equivalent) NIKKOR ED glass lens with the ability to reach 166x using Dynamic Fine Zoom and a super extra-low dispersion (ED) glass element, making this camera ideal for capturing sharp images and videos from extreme lengths. This feature-packed long zoom is equipped with a 16-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor(Crop frame) and a high performance Autofocus (AF) system capable of shooting 7 frames-per-second (fps) to help deliver photos of fast moving sports in superb quality. Users can achieve crisp photos and videos with Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction (VR), where shots are stabilised at a shutter speed of approximately 5.0 stops.

     With EXPEED C2 imaging processor, the ISO can get expanded up to 6400. That delivers clear images with excellent contrast even in low light. The device has Picture Control function that allows for further image adjustment, such as setting the contrast of the image. Create unique images by overlaying up to three images with the Multiple Exposure function. It is of type electronic viewfinder with 100% coverage.
