Nikon D500 Details

The Nikon D500 is launched in India. It is of type single lens reflex digital camera. The lense used is compatible with AF NIKKOR lenses, including type G, E and D lenses (some restrictions apply to PC lenses) and DX lenses, AI-P NIKKOR lenses and non-CPU AI lenses (exposure modes A and M only), IX NIKKOR lenses. The newest DX camera comes with dimension as 5.8, x4.6, x 3.2 in. (W x H x D). It weighs approx. 860g (Including battery and XQD card). The mid range DSLR delivers high imaging performance and superior quality images, with  20.9 megapixel CMOS sensor(APS-C: Crop frame) and the EXPEED 5 image processor. The camera also leverages a 3.2-inch 2,359k-dot tilting RGB LCD touchscreen, making it easy to get the shot even from high or low angles.

After capturing spectacular photos, the D500 share them via the built-in SnapBridge (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) capabilities. It also features an enhanced 153-point autofocus system to achieve outstanding footage in any environment, especially in low light. There's also a 100%-coverage optical viewfinder. It offers auto White balance with the imaging sensor. Then there is viewfinder of type Eye-level pentaprism single-lens reflex viewfinder, with coverage of approx 100%. For the first time in a Nikon DX DSLR, you can harness the power of 4K UHD video recording. So, capture every moment in cinematic, ultra high definition detail at up to 30 frames per second.

The Nikon D500 is developed to pursue the highest picture quality in high sensitivity video recording and can handle up to ISO 16,00,000. This helps in reducing motion blur caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light conditions. The device comes with AF-S DX 16-80 f/2.8-4E ED VR lens and 64GB High Speed Sandisk card by default. This mid range Nikon D500 is priced at Rs. 1,77,000 in Indian market.
