Nikon Z7 Details

The Nikon Z7 will go on sale in India from September 27. It is the company's first full-frame mirrorless camera which has a 45.7MP BSI-CMOS sensor and comes with 4K UHD video shoot capability with an addition of on-screen phase detection. The device features 493 AF (Auto Focus) points with 90% horizontal and vertical coverage, which helps in focusing the moving objects stunningly. It sports 2.1M-dot tilting touchscreen with OLED top plate display.

The Z 7 comes with in-body image stabilization. It offers five-axis correction for native lenses and is rated to 5 stops of correction, per CIPA standard testing. The viewfinder panel is a 3.69M-dot display (giving 1280 x 960-pixel resolution). It comes with i Menu which is now touch-sensitive and customizable. The camera features an ISO of range 64-25,600 (expandable to 102,400). Thus, generating outstanding images with noise reduced to zero level. It also comes with SnapBridge Wi-Fi system with Bluetooth, including to-PC transfer. With a new EXPEED 6 image processing engine the Z7 can shoot at a fast 9fps. You also have the option to shoot silently, with the Z7 swapping over to its electronic shutter to achieve this.

There's also an electronic Vibration Reduction system (known as E-VR) to reduce the impact of camera shake when shooting movies handheld, and there are ports for an external microphone and audio monitoring. The Z7 is also compatible with Timecode In/out, making it easy to synchronize multiple compatible devices when filming, for pain-free post-production editing later on. The high-end Nikon Z7 is priced at Rs. 2,69,950.
