The Olympus PEN E-PL9 is launched in India. It is a stylish, Rangefinder-style mirrorless camera that features a 16MP Live MOS sensor(Micro four-third: crop frame) and an updated Truepic VIII processor. The device comes with dimension as 4.6 x 2 x 2.7 inches(W x H x D), and weighs 380g. It has 3-inch articulating LCD screen. Other features include a 3-axis in-body image stabilization system, an updated 121-point contrast-detect autofocus system with face and eye detection, and a built-in pop-up flash.

The E-PL9 also supports 4K video capture at 30p, and a new Bluetooth connection allows for tagged photos to be transferred to mobile devices even after the camera is turned off. It also has inbuilt WiFi. The device has 16 Art Filters that provide endless creative expression. It has Touch AF that lets users focus and trip the shutter with one quick touch of the screen.
