Panasonic Lumix GH5S

The Panasonic LUMIX GH5s is launched in India. It features C4K digital single lens mirrorless camera that offers over 29 LUMIX and LEICA compact lens options built on the next-generation (ILC) interchangeable lens camera standard. Its “mirrorless” design enables the high performance, durability, mobility, and low light gathering needed for professional Cinematic and Anamorphic 4K video production. The device comes with dimension as 5.45 x 3.86 x 3.44 in. (W x H x D). It weighs approx. 660g (Including battery and body). The entry-level DSLR delivers high imaging performance and superior quality images, with single lens mirrorless camera that houses newly developed 10.28-megapixel Digital MOS Sensor(Four Thirds system-17.3mm x 13mm: Crop frame) and the Venus Engine 10 image processor.

     After shooting, the GH5S automatically switches to a fast Wi-Fi 5GHz (IEEE802.11ac) connection to transfer data to your mobile device of JPEG and RAW files. The camera features a 3.4-inch LCD screen vari-angle monitor, that lets you shoot at any angle. It also features an enhanced 225-point autofocus system to achieve outstanding footage in any environment, especially in low light. There's also a 100%-coverage optical viewfinder. It offers auto White balance with the imaging sensor. Then there is viewfinder of type OLED Live View Finder, with coverage of approx 100%. The camera also comes with a Variable Frame Rate Effect (VFR) which allows users to record slow motions and time-lapse videos at 60 FPS and 240 FPS format, alike.

     The new LUMIX GH5S is developed to pursue the highest picture quality in high sensitivity video recording and can handle up to ISO 51,200. This helps in reducing motion blur caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light conditions. The camera also comes preinstalled with a V logL feature, so users don’t have to purchase a software upgrade key separately. This entry level Panasonic LUMIX GH5s is priced at Rs. 1,73,990 in Indian market.
