Sony Alpha A6500 Details

The Sony Alpha a6500 is launched in India. It is the company's top-tier APS-C(Crop frame) mirrorless model, a 24MP stills and video camera with image stabilization. It sits above the similar-looking a6300 in Sony's lineup, adding touchscreen capability and stabilization for enthusiasts willing to dig a little deeper into their pockets. The camera comes with dimension 15.7 x 2.8 x 2.1 inches(W x H x D), and weighs 414g. It sports a 2.95-inch LCD screen, that features Touch Pad function. With which you can swipe the LCD touchscreen to shift focus point intuitively and easily from an area to another, even as you monitor the viewfinder.

The α6500’s unrivaled 4D FOCUS system boasts the world’s fastest autofocus (AF) acquisition time that can lock focus on a subject in as little as 0.05 seconds. It also has the world’s highest number of focal plane phase detection AF points - an incredible 425 - that are densely positioned over 84% of the image area. It features electronic viewfinder, with 100% coverage. With new front-end LSI, BIONZ X processes data from the Exmor CMOS image sensor for outstanding texture, clarity and image sharpness with low noise in stills and movies.
