Sony Alpha a9 (ILCE-9)

The Sony Alpha A9 is launched in India. The device comes with mirrorless Interchangeable lens camera. It features World’s first 35mm full-frame stacked CMOS sensor of 24.2-megapixel. This new inclusion to the Sony department comes with dimension: 12.7 x 9.8 x 6.3 cm(W x H x D), and weighs 673g(including the battery and memory card). The groundbreaking full-frame Exmor RS CMOS sensor and the BIONZ X processor team up for 20 fps continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking. An uninterrupted view of the subject is available even during shutter release, with 60fps live-view capability and minimal display lag in continuous shooting. Its anti-distortion electronic shutter allows silent shooting without mechanical mirror and shutter noise.

     The Sony Alpha A9 features a 7.5 cm LCD touch screen, with 1440k dots vari-angle monitor, that lets you shoot at any angle. With its 693-point autofocus, improved white balance and wide sensitivity range, the device lets you shoot high precision stunning photos and Full HD movies. There's viewfinder of type electronic viewfinder (colour),Quad-VGA OLED with coverage of approx 100%. It features a new terminal for wired LAN connection, that lets you transfer still images to an FTP(file transfer protocol) server for viewing and management. Not only this using FTP server, image files can be encrypted while transferring. Thus protecting it from reaching to unauthorize use.

      The Alpha A9 is developed to pursue the highest picture quality in high sensitivity video recording and can handle up to ISO 204800. This helps in reducing motion blur caused by slow shutter speeds, which is common especially under low light conditions. And generates images with minimum noise. It also features world’s first blackout-free continuous shooting up to 20 fps. This mid range Sony Alpha A9 is priced at Rs. 3,29,990 in Indian market.
