Sony Cybershot DSC-RX10 IV Details

The Sony DSC-RX10 IV is launched in India. It is premium superzoom bridge camera (DSLR-like form factor) with a 24-600mm equivalent F2.4-4 zoom lens, and a 20MP 1"-type stacked BSI-CMOS(crop frame) sensor. The device comes with dimension as 5.22 x 3.7 x 5.02 inch(W x H x D), and weighs approx. 1095(including battery and card). The camera sports 3-inch tiltable LCD screen. The camera is also faster than its predecessor and can shoot at 24 fps with AF and auto exposure (compared to 5 fps).

The RX10IV features the world’s fastest AF acquisition time, that enables the camera to lock focus in as little as 0.03 sec. It comes with 315 phase detection AF points covering approximately 65% of the sensor. Thus, generating superfine images with great focus. The camera offers the advantages of 4K6 (QFHD 3840 x 2160) movie recording, with its Fast Hybrid AF system, realizing fast and accurate focusing speed and AF tracking for video. There is built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, that helps to reduce image blur caused from camera shake, equivalent to approximate 4.5 stops shutter speed improvement. It can also capture super slow motion movie clips at up to 40x slower than real time.

With BIONZ X imaging processor, the ISO can be expanded up to 25600. That helps keep results sharp and detailed in virtually any lighting situation, with noise more effectively reduced. The connectivity options on board the device include WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth that offer hassle-free transfer of images to smart devices via the PlayMemories Mobile app. The device has electronic viewfinder, with 100% coverage. The high end Sony DSC-RX10 IV is priced at Rs. 99,979 in Indian market.
