The Zenfone Max M2 is a first device to be powered by 14nm Snapdragon 632 chipset which offers 40% higher CPU performance, making your multitasking very smooth. The other prime aspect is its dual camera system which has the ability to shoot 4K video and comes with EIS which ensures better stability. The camera setup also comes with AI scene detection which automatically recognises 13 types of scene or subject, producing the desired shot.

The Asus Zenfone Max M2 is available in India and will be launched from 20th December 2018. The device sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is a notched display that has a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC and pairs Adreno 506 GPU. It ships in two variants - 3GB RAM / 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant. It sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a selfie flash. Asus will be enabling EIS capabilities for the front camera as well. The camera app will also get a Pro mode for manual photography enthusiasts. Connectivity parts on board the Max M2 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, v4.2, microUSB v2.0, with A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual Sim (Nano + Nano). The handset is fuelled by non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mah battery and runs Android 8.1(Oreo) out of the box. Sensors present are a Fingerprint sensor, an Accelerometer, a Gyroscope, and a Proximity. The handset is going to be available in an Indian market in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 price starts from Rs. 9,999 for 3GB/32GB and Rs. 11,999 for 4GB/64GB variants.
