Chinese company Coolpad has launched Coolpad Cool 2 in China. As per speculation, it is yet to release in India. If we talk about the specs, the phone flashes a metal unibody design with a 5.7-inch HD+ ( resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. The phone is powered by an 64-bit octa core MediaTek MT6750 processor, which is paired with Mali T860 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of default storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It houses dual rear cameras with 13MP primary and a 0.3MP secondary sensor on the back, while in its front lies an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
The connectivity aspects on board the Cool 2 include wi-fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, hotspot, v4.2, microUSB 2.0, with A-GPS and dual sim. The smartphone comes packed with powerful 3200 mAh non-removable battery. Regarding sensors, it features fingerprint sensor on the back panel located just under the rear cameras, which also comes with face unlock capability. Other sensors include accelerometer, proximity and compass. The handset runs Android 7.0(Nougat), out of the box.
The unit is present in market in Matte Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors. The Coolpad Cool 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999 for 4GB and 64GB variant.
