The Coolpad Mega 5A is launched in India. The mobile features an 18:9 aspect ratio HD+ resolution screen. It is powered by an octa-core Spreadtrum SC9850K that is coupled with Mali 400 GPU, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB default memory capacity. This storage can be expanded up to another 64 GB with the help of a microSD card. Additionally, the phone also features face unlock and sports a dual-camera setup at the back featuring an 8-megapixel primary sensor and 0.3-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is a 5-megapixel shooter, and the phone is available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable by up to 64GB).
Connectivity aspects on board the Mega 5A include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, v4.0, micro USB 2.0, with A-GPS, and dual Sim. It packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2500 mah battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It has a fingerprint sensor as well. The phone is available in Gold color in the Indian market.
