The new Honor 10 is launched in India. There are so many best aspects to be talked about. To set it loose, the phone flashes a 5.84 inch screen with a notch on top and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It’s an IPS LCD panel with 1,080 x 2,280 pixels resolution (432 ppi pixel density). The smartphone makes use of an octa core HiSilicon Kirin 970 that is coupled with Mali G72 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64/128 GB default memory capacity. Regarding cameras, there are dual cameras on the back coming with a 16 MP color sensor (and f/1.8 aperture) and a 24 MP black & white sensor. Camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and PDAF. The selfie camera has a 24 MP sensor and an f/2.0 fixed-focus lens, which offers iPhone-like portrait photos. Both cameras feature AI smarts to automatically tune the image. On the video side, the main camera shoots 4K while the selfie cam does with1080p.
The connectivity aspects on board the Honor 10 include wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, v4.2, microUSB v2.0, with A-GPS and dual sim. It packs a 3400 mAh battery with 4.5A fast charge over USB-C. That’s a whopping 22.5 W of charging power (50% charge in 25 minutes). The mobile runs Android 8.1(Oreo) based on EMUI 8.1, out of the box. There is fingerprint sensor equipped below the screen, which claims to work faster and in a secured way. Other sensors present are accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
The unit is available in market in Phantom Blue, Phantom Green, Midnight Black and Glacier Grey colors. The Honor 10 is priced at Rs. 27,475 for 6/64GB variant, and Rs. 32,999 for 6/128GB variant.
