The Honor 8 Smart was launched in October, 2016. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 424 pixels per inch. It is powered by 2GHz octa-core Kirin 650 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor 8 Smart packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The connectivity aspects on board include wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, wifi Direct, hotspot, v4.2, A2DP, EDR, LE, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, with A-GPS, GLONASS/ BDS. It is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mah battery and runs Android 6.0.1(Marshmallow) out of the box. Sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.
The handset is available in Black, White and Gold colors. The Honor 8 Smart is priced at Rs, 8,979 for 2GB and 16GB variant.
