The Lenovo Z5 is expected to launch soon in India. The handset features a 6.2-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a ‘notch’. The smartphone makes use of an octa core Snapdragon 636 that is coupled with Adreno 509 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64/128 GB default memory capacity. This storage can be expanded up to another 256GB with the help of a microSD card. In terms of optics, it houses primary 16MP sensor and a secondary 8MP unit at the back. The camera includes some AI enhancements that are supposed to help in taking better low-light photos, portrait photos, improve HDR, improve selfies, and detect scenes.
Connectivity aspects on board the Z5 include wifi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, hotspot, v5.0, USB Type-C, with A-GPS, GLONASS and hybrid dual sim. The mobile is equipped with an industry standard 3300mAh battery that supports fast charging. An 18W charger would be provided with the phone to help it charge faster. The battery offers standby time up to 45 days. It runs Android 8.1(Oreo) based on ZUI 3.9, out of the box. Sensors on the phone include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
The mobile will be available in Aurora Blue, Black and Indigo Blue colors in Indian market. The Lenovo Z5 is expected to price at Rs. 13,999.
