The LG G6 was launched on 24th April, 2017 in India. With an IP68 rating, it's sealed against dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. The device makes taking great selfies effortless with an enhanced front camera that automatically snaps a picture when a face is in frame. Capture life’s breathtaking views with dual 13MP rear cameras. The 125° wide-angle lens allows you to capture photos and videos with a wider perspective - for more friends or more inclusive scenic shots. The smartphone has the Google Assistant built in, allowing to get real-time answers including the latest on weather, traffic, finance, or sports. A Google assistant quickly find translations while you’re traveling. The newly designed LG TONE FREE, featuring wireless earbuds that charge while they are docked in the neckband, is always ready for immediate use. The device features 5.7 inch QHD Plus FullVision display, with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 at 564 ppi and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on screen, gives good protection. The display also feature Dolby vision HDR for enriched brightness and greater contrast.


The smartphone makes use of a quad-core custom 64 bit Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 that is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB default memory capacity. This storage can be expanded up to another 2TB with the help of a microSD card.


The rear camera is equipped with a dual 13MP. The features include PDAF, camera resolutions up to 4160 x 3120, manual mode, OIS 2.0, tracking focus, zero shutter lag, zoom out and zoom in, pop out picture mode, filter effect, burst shot, fast snapshot, 360 panorama mode. The smartphone packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mah battery, with USB Type-C charging port. The port features Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0- a reversible design for easier plug-in, giving fast charging and data transfer.


The device runs Android 7.0(Nougat) with improved experience, better productivity, and enhanced performance, out of the box. The OS is based on LG UX 6.0. The features are smart lock, smart bulletin 2.0, LG health 2.0, Quick Memo +, capture +, Ringtone ID, content lock and many more.
