The LG G7 Thinq is expected to launch on 6th June, 2018 in India. Coming with a 6.1-inch QHD+ display, the handset features a very high resolution of 3120 × 1440, making it more detailed. It also has a taller display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The notch can clearly be seen on the smartphone, but luckily there is an option to turn it off easily via the software. The display technology is LCD with 100 percent color accurate (DCI-P3) and can go up to a brightness level of 1000 nits. The phone is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, coupled with Adreno 630 GPU, 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM. The inbuilt storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The smartphone houses a dual rear camera of 16MP + 16MP. The primary camera is a standard one with a 71-degree FOV and f/1.6 aperture. The rear camera setup also supports the AI Cam. This intelligent feature analyzes the objects in front of the camera and adjusts the settings according to the scene. There is also another feature called ‘Super Bright Camera’ mode and it comes into action when it is too dark in your surrounding. There is also the usual portrait mode to create the bokeh effect on the smartphone. On the front, it is equipped with an 8MP wide-angle camera with f/1.9 aperture and an 80-degree lens.
The G7 Thinq is also equipped with a 32 bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC which supports DTS:X to deliver virtual 3D sound for delivering up to 7.1 channel audio with earphones. There is a dedicated button for launching Google Assistant, which you can disable if you desire. The connectivity aspects on board the handset include wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, wifi direct, DLNA, hotspot, v5.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, Type-C 2.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go, with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS. It is fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery, featuring Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0. It also comes with face recognition feature. The phone runs Android 8.0(Oreo), out of the box. The mobile is available in market in New Platinum Gray, New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue and Raspberry Rose colors. The LG G7 Thinq is priced at Rs. 56,490 for 4GB and 64GB variant.
