Nextbit Robin: Review

The Nextbit Robin was launched in May, 2016. The mobile features a compact 5.2 inch LCD display with full HD screen resolution and a sharp pixel density of 424 ppi. The display is protected by corning gorilla scratch resistant glass. It also sport a rectangular shape with paired circles and has textured feel to it. The smartphone is powered by a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8926 processor, that is coupled with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB default storage. Incredibly, it boards dual front facing speakers with dual amplifiers. The handset is stacked with a 13MP main shooter with face detection and autofocus. To click pictures, users can rely on dual-tone flash and for selfie lovers it sports a standard 5MP front camera.

       The connectivity aspects on board include wi fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, v4.0, microUSB v2.0, with A-GPS. The Robin packs a Li-Ion 2680 mah battery, with quick charge 2.0 and 3.0 Type C USB connector. It runs Android 5.1.1(Lollipop), out of the box. The phone comes with Android Pay Ready with fingerprint ID sensor as well. Other sensors include compass magnetometer, proximity, accelerometer, ambient light  and gyroscope.

        The handset is available in Mint and Midnight colors. The Nextbit Robin is priced at Rs. 19,999 for 3GB and 32GB variant.
