Nokia 6.2: Design
The Nokia 6.2 is the most affordable triple camera smartphone from HMD Global that looks a lot like the Nokia 7.2. Just like the Nokia 7.2, the Nokia 6.2 has a premium all-glass design with a plastic mid-frame. The back glass has a gradient finish that does hide a bit of smudge, making it less fingerprint magnet. At the front, the device has a 6.39-inch display with FHD+ resolution, protected by a 2.5D curved tempered glass with a water-drop notch at the top of the display.
Nokia 6.2: Hardware Performance
The Nokia 6.2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, which is a mid-tier octa-core chipset. The processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. And the phone also offers dual SIM card slots with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 can handle the normal day-to-day task without any issue. In fact, the device can also manage a bit of gaming as well. With medium graphics settings, the phone can easily handle even the high-fidelity games like PUBG and COD Mobile.
Nokia 6.2: Camera Performance
The Nokia 6.2 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. At the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera with support for 1080p video recording at 30fps. The 16MP primary sensor on the Nokia 6.2 comes with an f/1.8 aperture that can take good looking photos with a lot of details in low light and night light conditions. Due to the smaller f/2.2 aperture, the ultra-wide angle lens does struggle a bit in the low-light condition.
Nokia 6.2: Price To Specs Ratio
The Nokia 6.2 currently retails for Rs. 14,399 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Compared to its contemporaries the Nokia 6.2 feels a bit expensive, especially with the Snapdragon 636 SoC. However, unlike most of the smartphones at this price range, the Nokia 6.2 runs on stock Android UI making it a better option for those who want a smartphone with pixel-like experience. Plus, the company is also good at pushing software updates as well.
Nokia 6.2: Important Features/Highlights
The Nokia 6.2 comes with a 3,500 mAh battery which seems a bit lower compared to the competition which offers at least a 4,000 mAh unit. Plus, the smartphone also has a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing which is also a good addition. The phone features a physical fingerprint sensor at the back of the smartphone that is quicker than most of the in-display fingerprint sensors.
Nokia 6.2: Verdict
The Nokia 6.2 is not the most powerful smartphone for the asking price. However, the phone does make it up with a premium design and stock Android user experience. The smartphone is promised to receive an Android 10 update in the future and might also receive an Android 11 update in 2021. If you are looking for a smartphone with stock Android UI that also looks good with a good set of cameras, then the Nokia 6.2 is the device to get to.

Rating a smartphone is a tedious process and a lot of parameters have to be considered before judging the overall performance of the device such as display, camera, processor, RAM, storage, battery, and the pricing.
So, here are how these specs will affect the real-life usage of a device and why how we meticulously consider each of these points to rate a smartphone.
Cameras have evolved a lot over the last few years and multi-camera setup is a new norm. We consider various parameters like MP count, aperture size, pixel size, image stabilization to rate a camera system of a smartphone out of 5. Any device that scores more than 3.5 can take good photos and videos and if a phone scores over 4, then it will be one of the best camera smartphones in the market.
Though battery seems like an underrated feature and we look at the battery capacity, fast charging supporting technology, and even the wireless charging capability is also taken into consideration to rate smartphone's battery capability.
The display is the face of a smartphone. And there are a lot of parameters like the panel technology (IPS LCD, OLED, TFT) and other parameters also taken into consideration like the resolution, pixel density, and refresh rate.
A smartphone could have great specs, but if it is not priced well then you might not get the best value-for-money. So, we compare a smartphone with the contemporaries to rate the value-for-money of a device out of 5.
This aspect is decided on various sub specifics, such as availability of microSD card slot, the amount of RAM the device offers, processor capability, and the network support. This parameter has more weightage when compared to other departments.
