The OnePlus 7T is the latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus. This is the successor to the OnePlus 7 and comes with a lot of new features. The smartphone is constructed using premium materials like glass and aluminum and the device has a circular camera setup at the back.

In terms of looks, the OnePlus 7T looks similar to the OnePlus 7, except for the circular camera cutout. The device has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus 7T is the first smartphone from the company based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. This processor offers up to 15% better GPU and 4 percent better CPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 855 that powers the OnePlus 7.

The chipset is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.0 based storage, resulting in a smooth overall performance. The smartphone can handle almost any game or app without any issue.

OnePlus 7T: Camera Performance

The OnePlus 7T has received a major upgrade over the OnePlus 7, especially in the camera department. The phone now sports a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The camera also supports new macro-mode.

The device offers an impressive camera performance and can easily beat previous generation OnePlus smartphones. However, the camera does struggle a bit in low-light and artificial lighting conditions.

The OnePlus 7T retails for Rs. 37,999 in India for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which makes it one of the most affordable phones in the market with a 90Hz refresh rate and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.

The smartphone also has a premium build. However, compared to other flagship smartphones from Samsung and Apple, the device does support wireless charging and there is no official IP rating for the water and dust resistance.

OnePlus 7T: Important Features/Highlight

The USP of the OnePlus 7T is its 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Besides, this is also the first smartphone from the company to ship with Warp Charge 30T charging technology, which can charge the battery from 0 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. FYI, the phone has a 3,800 mAh battery and charges via the USB Type-C port.

The OnePlus 7T runs on Android 10 OS out-of-the-box with added customizations via Oxygen OS 10 layer. Compared to the OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7T is way better in almost every department.

OnePlus 7T: Verdict

If you are searching for a smartphone under Rs. 40,000 and want a phone that can last up to a few years and also has a premium tag attached to it, then the OnePlus 7T is the phone to get.

The OnePlus 7T does face a tough competition from the Asus ROG Phone II, which also retails at a similar price tag and offer a 120Hz AMOLED Display with a bigger 6,000 mAh battery.
