The Oppo F9 is launched in India. The phone has a water drop notch design with a much smaller notch than most other smartphones. It sports a 6.3-inch LTPS IPS display featuring 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The mobile is powered by an octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded further up to 256GB. In terms of optics, the phone has a 16MP + 2MP AI dual-camera setup at the rear with both the sensors coupled with f/1.85 aperture lenses. Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture and an AI HDR mode.

The connectivity aspects on board the OPPO F9 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, v4.2, A2DP, LE, micro USB 2.0, USB OTG, with A-GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM.
