The Oppo Reno 3A is the latest mid-range smartphone from Oppo under the Reno series of devices. The smartphone has a clean premium looking design at the back with a quad-camera setup, making the Oppo Reno 3A similar to the most of the mid-range smartphones launched in 2020.
At the front, the smartphone has a 6.44-inch screen. This is an AMOLED display with a tiny U shaped notch at the top and the smartphone offers a higher screen-to-body ratio. As this is an AMOLED display, it offers a good viewing angle and overall multimedia consumption experience is also great, allowing users to stream HD content on platforms like Prime Video and Netflix.

The Oppo Reno 3A is powered by the time-tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC -- a mid-range octa-core processor with support for features like 4K video recording and 4K video playback. The device offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and this should be more than enough for most of the users in India.
In terms of real-life performance, the Oppo Reno 3A can handle a bit of gaming and normal day-to-day usage with ease. It can even run games like PUBG or COD: Mobile at low to medium graphics settings. The overall UI feels fast and responsive for sure.

Thanks to the higher MP count, the pictures shot on the main camera retains a lot of details, especially the one that has been captured in the native 48MP mode. Though the secondary 8MP camera offers an extended vision, the images from that sensor lack in sharpness and detail.

The Oppo Reno 3A is expected to cost around Rs. 20,000 in India, making it a bit more expensive when compared to the smartphones powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. However, do note that the Oppo Reno 3A does come with an AMOLED display, whereas, most of the mid-range phones use an IPS LCD screen.
So, even though it might be a bit expensive, it does pack in a great set of features that makes this device great and one can easily use this phone for years without any issue. Overall, It offers an average price to specs ratio.

The Oppo Reno 3A comes with a 4,025 mAh battery and the device does support fast charging via the USB Type-C port. The phone has a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack and the phone also supports 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots.
The software experience on the Oppo Reno 3A is also one of the highlights of the smartphone. The device runs on Android 10 OS with custom ColorOS 7 skin on top with stock android like user-experience.
