Realme C15: Design
The Realme C15 looks a lot like the recently launched Realme C12 with a plastic unibody design. The only visible difference between the two models is the cameras and fast charging support. The smartphone has a square camera cut out and the LED light is outside the camera module. At the front, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch display with a water-drop style notch. This is a 720p panel with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The device looks modern with a bit of a notch on the bottom portion of the display.
Realme C15: Hardware Performance
The Realme C15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This is an entry-level gaming-centric processor with the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and an eight-core CPU with a peak CPU clock speed of 2.3GHz. The phone offers 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot. In terms of performance, the smartphone should be able to manage regular tasks without any issue. As the phone is based on a gaming chipset, the smartphone can also handle a bit of gaming and even games like PUBG and COD: Mobile can be played on the Realme C15 without any issue.
Realme C15: Camera Performance
The Realme C15 has a quad-camera setup at the back. The device comes with a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, the smartphone also has an 8MP front-facing selfie camera with support for HD video recording. Though the smartphone has a quad-camera setup, it might not be a very practical one and the performance of the ultra-wide angle lens is not that great. The smartphone should be able to take good photos under normal daylighting conditions and the same cannot be said about the low-light camera performance.
Realme C15: Price To Specs Ratio
The Realme C15 costs Rs. 9,999 for the base variant and Rs. 10,999 for the high-end variant with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The device also offers a dedicated microSD card along with two nano-SIM card slots with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both slots. For the asking price, the Realme C15 seems like a good offering. For the same price, you can also get the Redmi 9 Prime which comes with a higher resolution screen and a much powerful processor.
Realme C15: Important Features/Highlights
There are a couple of features that make the Realme C15 an interesting smartphone. The device comes with a massive 6,000 mAh battery and the smartphone can easily last for an entire day even for the heavy user. Besides, the smartphone also supports 18W fast charging. However, it still uses a micro USB port. The smartphone runs on Android 10 OS with custom RealmeUI skin on top. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a mono speaker setup. Overall, the Realme C15 seems like a good package for the asking price.
Realme C15: Verdict
The Realme C15 is a great phone for the asking price. However, there are a lot of smartphones from the competition that offers better features and specs sheet for the same price and the build quality is something that also needs a re-work for the asking price.

Rating a smartphone is a tedious process and a lot of parameters have to be considered before judging the overall performance of the device such as display, camera, processor, RAM, storage, battery, and the pricing.
So, here are how these specs will affect the real-life usage of a device and why how we meticulously consider each of these points to rate a smartphone.
Cameras have evolved a lot over the last few years and multi-camera setup is a new norm. We consider various parameters like MP count, aperture size, pixel size, image stabilization to rate a camera system of a smartphone out of 5. Any device that scores more than 3.5 can take good photos and videos and if a phone scores over 4, then it will be one of the best camera smartphones in the market.
Though battery seems like an underrated feature and we look at the battery capacity, fast charging supporting technology, and even the wireless charging capability is also taken into consideration to rate smartphone's battery capability.
The display is the face of a smartphone. And there are a lot of parameters like the panel technology (IPS LCD, OLED, TFT) and other parameters also taken into consideration like the resolution, pixel density, and refresh rate.
A smartphone could have great specs, but if it is not priced well then you might not get the best value-for-money. So, we compare a smartphone with the contemporaries to rate the value-for-money of a device out of 5.
This aspect is decided on various sub specifics, such as availability of microSD card slot, the amount of RAM the device offers, processor capability, and the network support. This parameter has more weightage when compared to other departments.
