The Redmi Note series has been quite popular in India. One of the popular smartphones is the Redmi Note 11S which packs a sleek frame and a stylish rear panel. The smartphone flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The overall design of the Redmi Note 11S is similar to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10S, including the flat edges and the IP53 rating.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11S draws power from the MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB default storage. Xiaomi has included a dedicated microSD card slot that allows users to expand storage up to 1TB. The Helio G96 processor offers decent performance but skips 5G support.

The Redmi Note 11S features a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a pixel size of 0.7-micron. The other sensors include an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. Plus, there’s a 16MP selfie camera in the front, housed in the punch-hole cutout. The 108MP camera in this segment is what makes the Redmi Note 11S a star in this segment.

Redmi Note 11S Price-To-Specs Ratio

The Redmi Note 11S is available in three models with the base variant offering 6GB + 64GB at Rs. 16,499. The other two variants include 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB at Rs. 17,499 and Rs. 18,499. The Redmi Note 11S is an attractive smartphone under Rs. 20,000, offering a high-end 108MP camera and other premium specs. However, it misses out on 5G, which is a key feature in this segment now.

That said, there are a couple of other important features on the Redmi Note 11S. These include a massive 5,000 mAh battery paired with 33W fast charging support with the adapter shipping in the box. The phone also runs Android 11 OS with the MIUI 13 custom skin on top. It comes with the usual connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and so on. Plus, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and support for Face Unlock.

Redmi Note 11S Verdict

The Redmi Note 11S is a camera-centric phone, offering 108MP quad cameras for under Rs. 20K. For the asking price, the Redmi Note 11S makes a good investment. That said, it misses out on a couple of factors like 5G support. However, 5G is still in its infancy in India, and getting the Redmi Note 11S for its 4G network still makes a good choice.
